Brief History:
Al-Hajiyat Mosque is a historical religious structure in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. The mosque is located in the Sanabis district of Manama, and is a place of worship for both Sunni and Shia Muslims. The mosque was built in the early 19th century by Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, a prominent member of the ruling family of Bahrain at the time. The mosque has gone through a number of renovations, with the current one taking place in 1987. The structure of the mosque consists of two intersecting circles, within which can be found a large central dome. The walls and floor of the mosque are decorated with intricate Islamic art. Additionally, the mosque has a large prayer hall in the center as well as several smaller halls for use during prayer and study sessions. It is one of the few mosques in Bahrain that can accommodate both prayers and lectures simultaneously. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bahrain which you must visit.
Architecture:
The Al-Hajiyat Mosque is one of the many mosques in Bahrain which dates back to the 17th century. It is an important example of traditional Islamic architecture and is famous for its intricate woodcarvings, intricate inscriptions, and ornate marble doorways. The mosque is constructed of white-washed mud brick and has three domes, one large, one small, and two minarets. The large dome is supported by four arches and the small dome is supported by two smaller arches. The mosque has four entrances, two of which lead directly into the main prayer hall. The interior is decorated with intricately carved and painted wooden columns, stucco decoration, and Islamic inscriptions in Islamic script. Visiting Hours:
Al-Hajiyat Mosque in Bahrain is open to visitors and worshippers seven days a week, from 8am to 12pm and then again from 3pm to 6pm. Friday has different hours from the rest of the days with it opening from 8am to 11am. Non-Muslims are requested to wear respectful clothing when entering the mosque. best mosque in the world.

The mosque is open to the public, and provides visitors with an opportunity to observe Islamic Culture and take part in Islamic prayers. The mosque is open for daily prayers from 4:30am to 8:30pm. During the call to prayer, visitors should remain quiet and show respect for the service. On Fridays, the mosque opens early at 2:30pm for special prayers, and opens for regular prayers at 4:30pm. Visitors should note that clothing should be modest, and that women must cover their heads when entering.
