Brief History:
is a mosque located in Cuttack, Odisha in India. Constructed in 1821 AD, by Sayyid Ali Abbas alias Mir Zamin Ali (Subedar of CIR Dulab Khan), this mosque stands today as a city landmark. Its architecture reflects the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. It is believed that Mir Zamin Ali constructed this mosque under the patronage of the then Nawab of Bengal and the Governor of Cuttack, Mir Asharaf Ali Khan Bahadur. The mosque has a huge white dome that is visible from a long distance. The intricate floral designs on the false ceiling are its main attraction. Inside, it has five prayer halls, three in the front and two in the courtyard. Visitors get to enjoy the wonderful architecture and decoration inside. The mosque is also a popular venue for religious rituals and ceremonies. The mosque is illuminated during special religious festivals and other seasonal events. It also serves as a popular tourist destination and receives many visitors from across the state and other parts of India. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

Masjid Mamoor is an important landmark in Cuttack, India, and its architecture is typical of traditional mosques in the area. The mosque is built in a domed circular shape, with three large domes that encircle a central courtyard. The main entrance to the mosque is located in the centre of one of the domes, which is heavily ornate with arches and designs. The interior of the mosque is a single large room, with a central open courtyard, and the walls are decorated with intricate geometrical designs in Islamic tradition. The columns of the courtyard are made from stone, and the walls are made from glazed tiles. On top of the central dome is a graceful minaret which is used for the call to prayer. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
