Kevada Masjid is a beautiful mosque located in the Vadodara district of Gujarat, India. It was built in 1617 and is an integral site for tourists and for local Muslims who practice their faith there. It is regarded as one of the oldest mosques in the state and is known for its unique architecture. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Kevada Masjid is known for its unique arched entrance, which is made of charcoal grey stone, and has a pinkish hue along its sides. The mosque is also surrounded by four minarets which are decorated with carvings of Islamic geometric designs.
