The porticos are supported by slender minarets and the entire structure is adorned with extensive delicate stone lattice work, called jalis, made out of yellow sandstone. The interiors of the mosque are well lighted and have several pillars to support the centerpiece, the mihrab or prayer niche. The main prayer hall is octagonal in shape and the walls of the mosque are decorated with several verses from the Quran. The courtyard also contains some graves of Sufi saints.
