The Al-Hamad Town Mosque is one of the most important landmarks in Bahrain, situated in the town of Al-Hamad Town in central Bahrain. Originally built in 2007, it is a modern mosque with a maximum capacity of 2000 worshippers. The mosque has a distinct architectural style, sporting a decorative dome which stands at 24 metres in height and a beautiful minaret. The architecture of the mosque was designed to be based on the traditional Islamic style, with an emphasis on symmetry and grandeur. Inside, the mosque has the traditional Islamic layout with two storeys and a main prayer hall which can accommodate mosques from multiple levels/floors. The Al-Hamad Town Mosque is located in a suburb of Manama, the capital city of Bahrain. With a capacity of 2,500 worshippers, it is the country’s largest mosque. The mosque has a modern design, incorporating an impressive open-air prayer hall, a library, offices, and a small shopping center. The mosque is built in the Islamic architectural style, with a domed central structure and four towering minarets. Its interior is decorated with intricate marble, gold, and mother-of-pearl inlays. Outside, the mosque is surrounded by manicured gardens and pathways. Five outdoor plazas provide a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of Manama. The complex also contains a 7,000 square-meter prayer hall ideal for quiet contemplation as well as a large school with classrooms and recreational space. The mosque is powered by a 4.7 megawatt solar farm, with around 12,000 solar panels installed in the area surrounding the mosque. This makes Al-Hamad Town Mosque one of the largest solar-powered mosques in the world. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The Al Hamad Town Mosque in Bahrain is open from Monday through to Friday between 4am to 10pm and Saturdays between 4am to 5pm. The Mosque is closed on Sundays. best mosque in the world.

Al-Hamad Town Mosque is located in Al-Hamad Town, Bahrain. It can be reached by car or taxi from Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Visitors can also access the mosque by bus Line #25, which operates from Manama to Al-Hammad Town. The mosque is located about 25 kilometers away from Manama. The mosque is open to visitors from dawn to dusk on most days, although some visitors may experience limited access, especially on holidays and Fridays. The mosque is well-maintained, with a large prayer hall and glass-paned windows. The mosque also features a beautiful fountain in the courtyard. Visitors can also explore the surrounding Al-Hamad Town, which offers traditional markets, restaurants, cafes and traditional architecture. Visitors are requested to dress modestly and observe basic Islamic etiquette when visiting the mosque.
