Brief History:
is a 400-year-old mosque located in the city of Bellary, Karnataka, India. It was constructed by the then Nawab Sadiq Ali Khan in 1699. It is an important place of worship for the Muslims of the city. The mosque has an interesting architecture with a sheltered verandah and a domed ceiling. It also has four minarets at the four corners of the premises, which adds to its beauty and charm. The mosque also houses a mausoleum for the Nawab and his family. The Shahi Masjid is a magnificent 16th century Mughal mosque located in the historic city of Ballari in southern India. The mosque was built by Iqbal Quli Qutub Shah in 1520 AD and is one of the oldest structures in the city. It is a sandstone structure with four minarets and three domes. It is said to have been constructed in honour of Emperor Akbar's victory in Ballari. The mosque has a large rectangular prayer hall which is decorated with intricate carvings and designs. The walls are also adorned with intricate tiles and calligraphic inscriptions from the Holy Quran. The interior of the mosque is brightly coloured and retains its original grandeur. The mosque also houses a religious school and a library. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
