The Mubarak Shah Tomb is located in the village of Khedi near Sikar in Rajasthan. It was constructed in 15th century as a monument to Mubarak Shah, the ruler of Mandor. It is a simple rectangular structure, built in the Indo-Islamic style and has a separate mosque attached to it. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The main features of the mosque attached to Mubarak Shah Tomb are its stunning marble facade, intricate carvings and inscriptions, and an exquisitely ornate arch. The mosque has an open courtyard, wherein stands an ancient marble fountain. The walls of the mosque feature verses from the holy Quran in Arabic script.
