The Dargah Baba Roshan Ali Shah (also known as Barbanki Sharif) is a complex of shrines located in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The complex is dedicated to the Sufi saint, Baba Roshan Ali Shah. The dargah is a beautiful cluster of Mughal and Awadhi architectural styles and features a mosque, a mausoleum, a madrasa, two tombs (one each for the saint's son, Hazrat Zabbar Ali Shah and his grandson, Baba Faqeer Ali Shah), and many other minor shrines, located within a walled enclosure. The main entrance of the dargah is a majestic Mughal-style archway, which leads into a courtyard dominated by a white marble mosque built in the traditional Mughal style. The mausoleum also has a Mughal-style dome. The madrasa is an imposing structure, built in the Awadhi architectural style, and is made of brick and plaster. The madrasa is decorated with intricate tile work and several large courtyards lined with arched corridors. The two tombs are located at the back of the complex and are decorated with intricate tile work. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
