History:

Amwaj Marina is located off the Muharraq coast in Bahrain. It was officially opened on December 12th, 2019. The Marina is part of Amwaj Islands, a group of artificial islands located to the north of Bahrain. Amwaj Marina is the country's first full-service private marina, which can support up to 60 vessels of all shapes and sizes. It provides floating docks for boats, as well as facilities such as Boat Yards, Docking, Maintenance, Rest Rooms, Laundry, and Security. The area also includes restaurants and a variety of cafes and retail outlets, as well as a beach, sports facilities, and a boardwalk. The Marina was constructed by Bahrain-based Grand Leisure Developments (GLD), a subsidiary of Al Maha Real Estate, a leading real estate development firm in the Gulf region.
