Diraz Mosque is located in the village of Diraz, about 20 kilometers from Manama, the capital city of Bahrain. It was built in the late 19th century, originally as a small mamluk madrasa and was given to the people of Diraz by Bani Utbah ruler, then in the Bahraini Royal Court. The Mosque is the home of the Shia leader Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa, who died in 1932. The Mosque has undergone several renovation works over the years and is a well-known landmark in the region. It is a beautiful building with seven entrances and three large iwans.The inside contains multiple stairways, a communion area, and four octagonal minarets. The prayer area has been renovated many times and can hold up to 500 worshippers. It is also a popular place for visitors and tourists for its unique brickwork. Visiting Hours:

Diraz Mosque is open to visitors on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 am to 8 pm. On Fridays, the opening hours are from 1 pm to 8 pm. The mosque is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
