Brief History:
Al Qadam Mosque is a small, traditional, Sunni Muslim mosque located in Manama, Bahrain. It is known for its historic architecture, as it was built in the 19th century. The mosque is believed to have been built in 1879 by Sheikh Bimetah, the ruler of Bahrain at the time. Inside the mosque, there is a small courtyard, a mehrab (a niche in the wall indicating the direction of prayer), and numerous ancient paintings. The mosque also contains the grave of Late Sheikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, a prominent figure in Bahrain's history. Al Qadam Mosque is used regularly by local worshippers and has become an important site for both local and international visitors, who often come to experience the mosque's sense of history and beauty. Architecture:
The Al Qadam Mosque is an 18th-century architectural gem in Manama, Bahrain. The structure is a traditional three-aisled mosque, with a North African style of architecture. The mosque’s main prayer hall is constructed around a marble courtyard divided into four aisles, which are connected through four arches. A central dome, with four half-domes at each corner of the mosque, domes the courtyard. The minaret is a four-storied building, with an octagonal base, covered with a white dome. The mosque is made of locally quarried limestone decorated with intricate Quranic verses. The main portal of the mosque, along with its four side entrances, is framed by a finely sculpted marble. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
Al Qadam Mosque is open to the public from 8am-11am and 4pm-7pm. Fridays are closed. best mosque in the world.

The Al Qadam Mosque is located in the Barbar region of Bahrain, about 10 kilometers west of the capital Manama. The closest airport is Bahrain International Airport (BAH) located 18km from the mosque. The airport is served by multiple Middle Eastern airlines, as well as a few international carriers.
