Hidd Mosque in Bahrain is one of the oldest mosques in the country, located on the island of Muharraq. The mosque is believed to have been built in the 16th century by Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, under the patronage of Sultan bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. It is a monument of Islamic heritage and is a rare example of Bahraini architecture. The mosque has a central courtyard with four entrances, a wooden ceiling and multicolored wooden door panels.
