Brief History:
The Al-Daih Mosque is a late 18th century Shiite mosque located in the village of Al-Daih, Bahrain. It is an important religious site in Shi’ite Islam and is visited by thousands of worshippers during religious holidays, especially Ashura. The mosque consists of two main rooms, with aisle after aisle of marble columns and a massive main dome that towers over the congregants. The mosque also features several small domes and an imposing minaret. The mosque is believed to have been built sometime in the late 18th century, though its exact construction date is unclear. The mosque was renovated in 2001. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bahrain which you must visit.
Architecture:
Al-Daih Mosque is an architectural mosque that is located in Riffa, Bahrain. The mosque is located on a hilltop and overlooks Bahrain’s tree-lined landscape. The mosque is constructed out of limestone and has a square-shaped base with a central courtyard. The building is decorated with intricate stone carvings and mosaic tiles, and also features a tall, brush-painted minaret and large golden dome. Inside the mosque, the prayer hall features a central prayer niche called a mihrab and includes intricate floral motifs and decorative plasterwork. The mosque's architecture is a unique blend of traditional Islamic architecture and modern styles, with the overall design being reminiscent of the mosques of the Persian and Mughal empires. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The Al-Daih Mosque in Bahrain is open for visitors from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm every day except Friday, when it is open from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. best mosque in the world.
