: Shahi Masjid or Iqbal Masjid is a 500 year old heritage mosque located in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, India. It is the oldest mosque in the state and is known for its beautiful architecture. The mosque is believed to have been built during the rule of the Samoothiri dynasty and is said to have been the seat of Islamic learning and culture during the time of the Biyyam dynasty (1498–1766).
