Gopal Temple is a Hindu temple located in the historic city of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna and the temple is considered to be one of the oldest, dating back to over four centuries. The most remarkable feature of the temple is its majestic central Shikhara or dome. This glorious temple is also considered to be one of the most popular and unique temples in India. The most remarkable feature of the temple is its majestic central Shikhara or dome. The temple structure is constructed in North Indian style and the Shikhara stands at a height of around 276 ft and features a beautiful image of Lord Krishna.
