The Shahi Masjid in Kadapa is one of the oldest mosques in India. It was built in the 16th century, during the reign of the The Qutb Shahi dynasty. The mosque is known for its unique architecture which combines the Persian and Hindu styles. Its walls are ornately decorated with white marble and it has three entrances. The main prayer hall is large and has seven arches. Inside, the walls are adorned with inscriptions in Arabic and Persian. The mihrab of the mosque is embellished with a marble façade and has verses from the Qur’an inscribed on it. The domes of the mosque are decorated with beautiful blue and green tiles.
