Built in masonry brick, the Shahi Masjid is a magnificent monument with a blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles. It is a combination of two distinct and unique styles, the North Indian and the Mughal. The monument is a rectangular structure of nine doors with four minarets at the corners. The walls of the mosque are decorated with white and blue tiles, along with marble and sandstone panels. The floor is made of black and white stones in marble, intricate stonework and inlay with ornate designs. The building is crowned with a dome which is octagonal in shape. This ornate dome is surmounted by a petal-like finial and is visible from a distance. The exterior of the mosque is intricately decorated with green, blue and white tiles and stucco work.
