Overview:
Seethatheertham is situated near the Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The presiding deity is Lord Rama and the shrine is maintained by Travancore Devaswom Board. The shrine is built in a traditional Kerala style and Chottanikkara Devi Temple lies at a distance of about 3 km from Seethatheertham. The main Festival celebrated at Seethatheertham is the Mandala Kalam. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Some of the prominent features of Seethatheertham are its breathtaking scenic beauty, lush green surroundings, blissful ambiance and proximity to several other important Hindu temples. The main attractions of the Temple are the beautiful sculptures and carvings of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman.
