The Hazrat Sayyed Rasool Shah Dargah (Hazaar Dargah), located in Solapur, Maharashtra, India, is an important religious complex that straddles two worlds - traditional and modern. It was built in the late 19th century by two prominent Muslim scholars, Sayyed Hasan and Sayyed Ali. Dedicated to the Sufi Saint Hazrat Rasool Shah, the dargah is located on the bank of the Bhima River on the north side of Solapur. The architecture of the dargah is a unique blend of Mughal and local styles, making it a unique place to visit. The main structure of the dargah is a two-storeyed tower which is clad in whitewashed masonry and topped with a large dome and minarets. The main entrance of the shrine is composed of three wooden doors which are decorated with intricate wood carvings. Inside the shrine, there is a courtyard that contains several rooms which house various artifacts and memorials of historical importance. A major highlight of the dargah is the presence of a large golden door which is believed to be the entrance to the village of the saint's family.
