: Shahi Masjid, Rajahmundry is a 500 year old mosque, located near the Godavari river in Rajahmundry, India. It is believed to have been built by the Gajapathi rulers of Odisha in the 15th century. The graceful pillars stand in testimony to the patterned Islamic architecture of that period. The mosque has three imposing minarets and a large courtyard in the front. It is one of the oldest surviving heritage sites of Rajahmundry and has been a testament to the Islamic faith for centuries. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

The Shahi Masjid is a famous 18th century mosque located in Rajahmundry, India. The Mosque is an example of the Indo-Islamic architecture of its time. It is believed to have been built by Fateh Ali Khan, the Nawab of Rajahmundry, and is adorned with large arches and minarets. The entrance is a gateway with two entries supported by four pillars. The prayer hall, or the masjid, is a large roofless space supported by a set of four slender pillars. The walls are painted with traditional Islamic motifs, geometrical designs, and Quranic verses. It is said to have been built using the style of an Afghan royal palace, and is considered to be Rajahmundry's oldest surviving structure. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
