Overview:
Originally constructed in the year 1714 by Vazir Mirza Raja Jawahar Singh, the brother of Raja Ganga Rai, Baradari Vazirganj is a bewildering representation of 18th century architecture with its Chandelier-like 16 pillars. It is one of the most visited tourist sites in Uttar Pradesh. There one can find the ancient architectural grandeur of the bygone era. A beautiful cluster of ancient temples, surrounded by a wild terrain and immaculately carved pillars, are some of its most mesmerizing attractions. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Baradari Vazirganj is a monument which has single-handedly contributed to the growth of arts and literature in Azamgarh. This monument comprises 16 strategically placed pillars that are ornately carved, and a gigantic dome which is located in the center. The domed roof is the main attraction of the monument and is intricately carved with designs from the Mughal era. The pillars, covered with intricate floral motifs and intricate calligraphic inscriptions are also a sight to behold. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour

1. The Baradari Vazirganj monument is a UNESCO Heritage Site, and it is one of the oldest monuments in Azamgarh district. 2. It is believed that the 16 pillars of the Baradari Vazirganj represent the 16 Rajputs who contributed to the design of the monument. 4.
