Inside the dargah, the octagonal mausoleum of Shaykh Bande Nawaz is built on a platform surrounded by a series of arches. The tomb of the saint is an impressive structure of white marble, enclosing a chamber containing the cenotaph of the saint. The walls of the dargah feature decorative plasterwork with floral and calligraphic designs, and intricate stone carvings on the pillars and arches. The exquisite tile work of the dargah is from Iznik (in southeastern Anatolia, Turkey). The walls are adorned with numerous Islamic inscriptions.
