Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah is a large Sufi shrine located in Bhatkal, a coastal town in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is believed that in the 12th century, a pious Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz built this shrine. His teachings, spirituality, and miracles attracted many followers who still come to the shrine in search of peace of mind and solace. The shrine complex is spread over an area of 4 acres and houses a large number of tombs and a masjid. Inside the shrine complex, prayers and religious discourses are held regularly. Architecture:

The mausoleum of Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz, located in the town of Bhatkal in Karnataka, India, is one of the most revered religious sites in the country. The grand complex is home to a central dome, four minarets, a mosque, and other traditional features. The complex is a fine example of traditional medieval Islamic architecture, blending various motifs and decorative features from the past. The central dome is adorned with intricate carving and stone-domed arches. The minarets, each 58 feet tall, are elaborately designed with floral designs and small columns. The entrance to the grand complex is guarded by two imposing gateways. Inside, the mosque is studded with numerous works of art, including intricate calligraphic inscriptions, inscriptions from the Quran, and numerous figurative paintings. The main hall of the mosque is richly decorated with carpets and colorful tiles. Another notable feature of the complex is its large courtyard, which was once used for religious meetings and lectures. The grand complex also houses two tombs of Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz and his son, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
