Brief History:
This Dargah is located in Bijnor Town of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to Hazrat Sayyed Badesha who was the descendant of Prophet Muhammad. He was a Sufi Saint who is believed to have come from Syria. According to legend, Hazrat Sayyed Badesha performed many miracles during his time. He cured many diseases and helped the people of Bijnor. The Dargah is still regarded as a place of miracles and healing and is visited by people from all over India and other countries. A wide range of materials, food, and gifts are offered to Sayyed Badesha to receive his divine blessings. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.
Architecture:
The architecture of the Hazrat Sayyed Badesha Dargah in Bijnor, India is a classic example of Islamic architecture. The Dargah is a large complex of buildings with an outer screen and courtyard, a prayer hall, a living quarters, a tomb and many other facilities dedicated to the sayyed. The complex is faced with inlaid marble and intricately carved sandstone. The inner courtyard is paved with marble and there is an open prayer hall in the centre of the complex. The walls and the parikrama are decorated with stucco motifs of foliage and floral designs. The tomb of the sayyed is marked by a large dome that is intricately worked with inlayed coloured stone. At the entrance, the grand arched gateway is adorned with intricately engraved marble columns and Islamic inscriptions. The interiors of the complex are further adorned with mirror inlay and richly carved stonework. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
? Hazrat Sayyed Badesha Dargah is open for visitors from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm, seven days a week. It is closed on Fridays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for the Friday prayers. best mosque in the world.
