Overview:
Tomb of Sujauddin is a 14th century memorial of the legendary Sufi saint Sujauddin, located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated in Bakshi Ka Talab, a suburb of Lucknow and can be reached by a 30-minute drive from the main city. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The tomb was constructed during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Sharqi, the ruler of the pre-Mughal dynasty Sharqi. The prominent feature of the tomb is its main entrance which is decorated with religious motifs, animal figures and floral patterns. Inside the tomb lies the cenotaph of the saint, flanked by a stunning black stone dome and four colourful pillars. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
