Merzifon Ulu Mosque is located in the city of Amasya, Turkey and was built during the Ottoman era, most likely in the 17th century. The mosque was said to have been designed by the famed Ottoman architect Mehmed Agha. This particular mosque features a single dome and two minarets, and is known for its intricate stone decorations on the mosque's outer walls. The interior of Merzifon Ulu Mosque is decorated with ornate Islamic calligraphy and tilework. The Merzifon Ulu Mosque is a 15th century Ottoman mosque located in the city of Amasya in Turkey. It was built in 1485 and is a classic example of Ottoman architecture. The mosque is composed of a rectangular prayer hall and a large vaulted dome. The dome is supported by four large pillars and is topped with a conical spire. The interior of the mosque is adorned with kündekari (stained glass) and muqarnas (mathematically-designed decorations). The exterior of the mosque displays two pairs of minarets, each topped with a conical roof surrounded by an ornamental railing. The walls of the mosque are decorated with glazed tiles and marble in an alternating pattern. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
