Brief History:

: Built in the 16th century, the Gazi Mehmet Pasha Mosque - Eskişehir is one of the oldest and most important Ottoman monuments in the city of Eskişehir, Turkey. It was originally built by Gazi Mehmet Pasha during the reign of Sultan Sulayman the Magnificent and has since undergone several renovations over the centuries. The mosque is quite famous for its tall minarets that rise up to 35 meters in the sky and the nearby mausoleum where the remains of Mehmet Pasha are buried. It is also considered to be a symbol of Ottoman architecture and has been named a protected monument by the government. It is one of the most famous mosque in Turkey which you must visit.

The Gazi Mehmet Pasha Mosque in Eskişehir, Turkey, is open to visitors from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays. best mosque in the world.
