Brief History:

The mosque is noted for its intricate geometric designs and colorful glazed tiles, and it is considered to be an important example of Omani architecture. The Al Khoudh South East Mosque is located in Muscat, Oman. It is a traditional Islamic style mosque, designed in a mix of modern and traditional architecture. The main building consists of a large central prayer hall (musalla) that can hold up to 500 people, surrounded by several smaller prayer rooms for private worship. The interior is decorated with intricate stucco decorations and plaster reliefs, as well as brightly coloured ceramic tiles. The exterior features iconic Islamic domes and intricate stucco patterns. The main entrance is a specific facade of monumental horseshoe arches and Minaret towers. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The Al Khoudh South East Mosque is open for prayers from 6:00am to 11:00am and 4:00pm to 8:00pm daily. All visitors to the mosque must adhere to the Islamic dress code while visiting and are not permitted to take photographs or videos. best mosque in the world.
