: Al Wahat East South Central Mosque is a four-storey Islamic center located in the province of Al ‘ādilah, Sultanate of Oman. It was established in 2014, owing to the generous support of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Saeed. The Mosque is built on a 4 acres of land, which provides expansive space for its various purposes. The Mosque boasts an impressive layout, housing a prayer hall, a women’s prayer hall, 26 classrooms, an Islamic library, a youth center, and a lecture hall. It has five minarets, built in pure Omani style, and a large domed roof. Its grandiose architecture is made to honor Oman’s Islamic and spiritual heritage. The building has a total of nine entrances, three facing east, three facing west, and three facing south. The minarets, meanwhile, have decorative minbars (stairs) on the outside, allowing the imam to stand outside the prayer hall and deliver his sermon.
