Al Jifnain Mosque, also known as Jifnain Mosque, is a large mosque located in the city of Ibra in the Al Batinah Region of Oman. The mosque is the largest in Al Batinah and one of the oldest in Oman, having been built in the 1700s on orders of imam Al-Mukhtar. The mosque offers both serenity and beauty with its decorative elements, such as Islamic inscriptions and geometric patterns. Inside, the prayer hall is octagonal in shape and is surrounded by a dome with eight circular windows. The entrance is located at the west side and is often covered with an awning. Visitor time is from 6:00 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening. There is a break for prayers between 1:00 and 3:00 in the afternoon.
