Brief History:

It is located at the upper end of the industrial area, near the junction of West-South and North-East roads. The mosque was designed by Dhofar architects and has been classified as a Grade 1 heritage structure. It was built to suit the needs of the local inhabitants, especially the workers of the area and those coming from neighbouring areas. The mosque is considered a vital part of the community, and is devoted to the Islamic holy book, the Quran, and to the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Architecture:

The architecture of Al Hail Industrial West North South East Mosque in Oman is a combination of traditional Omani Islamic architecture and contemporary contemporary urban design. The main dome of the mosque is made of white marble, flanked by two smaller domes. The four main minarets are octagonal and stand at the four corners of the mosque. The walls and roof of the mosque are made of white gypsum, with intricate patterns carved into them.
