: Tinjdad Mosque, Tinjdad In Morocco is an historic mosque constructed in 1240 AD. Its architectural quality makes it one of the foremost Islamic monuments in the country. The mosque’s grand minaret is 13 meters tall, and its round prayer hall is 10 meters in diameter. The mosque features beautiful tiles and intricate wood carvings. It is a popular tourist attraction, and a stop for most tourists passing through Tinjdad. Tinjdad Mosque is located close to the main square of the town, and it still serves as a place of worship for residents of the area. It is one of the most famous mosque in Morocco which you must visit.
Architecture:
's Tinjdad there is a mosque that dates back to the end of the 19th century. The style of the mosque has been described as Mudejar-Andalusian, inspired by Christian designs from the Middle Ages. It has an open, rectangular floor plan and an internal courtyard surrounded by arcades. The walls and columns are embellished with geometric and floral motifs. The main entrance of the mosque is located in the north, while the south leads to a small multi-arched porch. Inside, the mihrab is framed by an ogive arch decorated with tiles in a geometrical amber motif. The mosque is topped with a square, slightly domed roof, supported by four arches. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The visiting hours of Tinjdad Mosque in Tinjdad, Morocco depend on the season. During summer months (May to October), the mosque is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm. During the winter months (November to April), opening hours are shorter and the mosque is open to visitors from 9:00am to 6:00pm. best mosque in the world.
