Brief History:
: Ksar El Kebir is an important mosque located in Morocco, in the city of the same name. The first mosque was built on the site in 1563 by the Alawite Sultan Mulay Ahmad al-Sharaifi, who wanted to create a spiritual dimension in the region. The existing mosque was constructed in the 19th century, and underwent a major renovation between 1902 and 1912. It is an important Islamic pilgrimage site and is known as the most important religious site in the region. The mosque has an impressive gate, a large open courtyard, and a beautiful minaret. Inside the mosque is dominated by an impressive wooden ceiling which is intricately carved and decorated with rich colours. There are several ornate chambers and a large assembly hall in the main part of the building. The mosque is open to the elements and has a pleasant atmosphere, where people of all religions can come to pray. It is one of the most famous mosque in Morocco which you must visit.

The Ksar El Kebir Mosque is an example of traditional Islamic architecture in Morocco. It is a long rectangular building with a large central courtyard surrounded by four large pillars. The main prayer hall is located at the center of the mosque and is separated from the other parts of the mosque by a large wall that circles the courtyard. The interior of the mosque is decorated with traditional Moroccan mosaics, carved wood panels, and arched windows. The mosque also includes a traditional minaret and a dome that provides shade to worshipers. The mosque is notable for its somewhat unique architecture, as the walls of the mosque use a combination of mud bricks and stones, creating a unique visual effect. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
