St. Mary of Ħal Tmin Chapel is a small Roman Catholic church located in Zabbar, Malta. This chapel was built in 1715 and is set on a rectangular base. The church is dedicated to the Assumption of Virgin Mary and is constructed in the Baroque style. Outside the chapel, 8 pillars frame the main door and statues of saints decorate the front of the chapel while an image of Virgin Mary stands on top of a bell tower. It is one of the best churches in Malta which you must visit.

History:

The Chapel was built in 1715 and is thought to have been constructed out of gratitude due to the miraculous escape of a young woman who fell off a cliff but was saved by the Virgin Mary's intervention. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
