Old Church of Santa Venera (Knisja l-Qadima ta' Santa Venera) is a church in Malta that was built in the late 15th century. It is situated in the small village of Santa Venera, which is located between Valletta and Ħamrun. The church is one of Malta’s oldest churches and is protected by law as a Grade 1 national monument. Its history is mostly unknown, but it is generally believed that the church was built in the late 15th century by some local friar or priest. It was likely used as the main church in the village of Santa Venera until the early 19th century, when a new church was erected in the village. The Old Church of Santa Venera is a unique structure that has a unique architectural form. It is built in a circular form with a high central dome and several side chapels. The dome is decorated with murals and paintings as well as carved stone figures. The main entrance of the church is decorated with a sculpted stone figure of the Archangel Michael, dating back to the late 15th century. The exterior is also decorated with several stone relief sculptures depicting religious images. The church offers several services throughout the year, such as religious services, weddings, baptisms, and funerals. There is a seating area where visitors can sit and enjoy the serenity of the church.
