Knisja tal-Ġiżwiti is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Malta located in Żebbuġ, Malta. The church was built at the beginning of the 18th century to serve the Żebbuġ village. The church has a unique and majestic late Baroque architecture; it is one of the finest examples of Maltese church architecture and is a designated national monument. History:

The construction of Knisja tal-Ġiżwiti began in 1703 and was completed in 1720. The initial design was done by the architect Anthony Vincent Erasmo, though much of the work was carried out by his pupil Tommaso Dingli. The church is dedicated to the memory of St. Joseph and has a famous stucco altar that was made by Franc Cobbo in 1717. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
