Church of St. George is a historic Anglican church in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is located in the centre of Edinburgh, on a site which dates back to the 12th century. The first Church of St. George was built on the site in 1120. The building was replaced in 1517, and again in 1786. Many of the church’s original elements were preserved in the latest rebuild, including a fine Georgian interior and neoclassical portico. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
