St Paul's Church, Cospicua is a 17th-century Roman Catholic Church in Cospicua, Malta. It is dedicated to St Paul of Tarsus, and is one of the oldest churches on the island. It is one of the best churches in Malta which you must visit.

History:

The church was built between 1696 and 1711 to replace a previous church built in the same place. It is thought that this original church was destroyed during the Great Siege of Malta of 1565. The foundation stone was laid in 1696, by Maltese Archbishop Gilberto Borromeo and the construction was mostly finished in 1711. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
