Brief History:

Hazrat Masumeh Shrine is one of the most important religious sites in Iran, located in the city of Qom. The dome is decorated with turquoise tiles and intricate stucco work, and is surrounded by four courtyards and four main halls. At the front of the shrine, visitors are greeted by two stone minarets built in the mid-19th century and then escorted through the tall archways. Beyond the main gates, visitors pass through an inner courtyard, before reaching the central courtyard. This courtyard is the heart of the shrine and is often filled with pilgrims from all over the world praying and paying homage to Hazrat Masumeh. Each day, thousands of visitors come to the shrine for prayers and the ziyaret, which is a special time in which the shrine allows visitors to pay homage to Hazrat Masumeh.
