Brief History:
Shahi Masjid, Hapur In India is one of the most iconic religious sites in the city of Hapur. It was first built in 1475 AD on the orders of Mughal Emperor Babur. The mosque stands as a symbol of Mughal architecture and is the largest mosque in the region. It has three grand domes, two minarets, and a magnificent entrance portal. Architecture:
The Shahi Masjid of Hapur, India is the most celebrated Muslim historic monument located in the city of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. It was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1568 AD as part of the famous palace complex of the city. The structure is known for its intricate, Islamic-style architecture that includes domes, minarets, and stucco work. The grand entrance of the mosque features two large sandstone gateways, elaborately decorated with inscriptions in Persian. The main façade consists of a large arched opening that leads to a spacious courtyard, which is surrounded by arched colonnades and a terraced roof. The interior of the mosque is also decorated with geometric designs, stucco work, and a stunning rectangular stone pool. Other features include a central mihrab, two deep wells, and three inscribed tombs, all of which were reported to have been the burial sites of royal family members. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

In general, the mosque is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is accessible to visitors of all faiths. During most times, there is an imam present to lead prayers.
