Rajnagar ( Ruined ) Fort In India: History,Facts, & Services
Overview:
Rajnagar (Ruined) Fort is an ancient Indian fort located on the Delhi-Haryana border in the North Indian state of Haryana. The fort was built during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in the 17th century and served as a gateway to the kingdom of Mewat (present day Mewat district). This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The fort was built with red sandstone and is surrounded by a stone wall. It has a number of turrets, gates and bastions. The main gate of the fort is called Doob gate. Inside the fort, there is a large baoli (stepwell) and many other ruins. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour

The fort was constructed during the reign of Mughal Emperor Jahangir in the 17th century and served as a gateway to Mewat. It was attacked by various forces at different points of time but eventually fell into ruins.
