Overview:

Rajnagar (Ruined) Fort is an ancient Indian fort located on the Delhi-Haryana border in the North Indian state of Haryana. The fort was built during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in the 17th century and served as a gateway to the kingdom of Mewat (present day Mewat district). This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

History:

The fort was built with red sandstone and is surrounded by a stone wall. It has a number of turrets, gates and bastions. The main gate of the fort is called Doob gate.
