Jhater Deul Temple is an ancient temple complex located in the village of Baidyabati in the Hooghly district of West Bengal in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built by the Raja of Baidyabati in 1516 AD. It is believed that the temple was built as a symbol of divinity and a place of worship for the citizens of the region. History:

The temple complex includes two large deuls or towers, an open mandapa or pavilion, and a few smaller shrines.
