Brief History:

The Shahi Masjid in Ranchi is a historic mosque that was built in 1713 AD by a Muslim missionary known as Syed Ibrahim Qutb Owaisi. The mosque is architecturally significant due to its unique design, which combines elements of both Hindu and Mughal architecture. It incorporates a four-domed mosque with three minarets, along with a large open courtyard and a prayer hall. The mosque is constructed with red bricks and mortar. The interior of the mosque is richly decorated with intricate floral and geometric designs, giving it a royal ambiance. There is also a four tiered chattar around the central dome. The mosque also features seven entrances, each of which is crafted with geometric designs. The courtyard also features several gardens, trees, and shrubs, making it a peaceful place for worship. Visiting Hours:
, there is no fixed visiting hours as most of the mosques offer 24 hoursservice to the devotees. Some mosques may be open for visits only during the sunrise and sunset timings. The Shahi Masjid, Ranchi is open to the public from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. However, Friday prayers are held from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. During this time, visitors may not be allowed to enter the premises.
