Mahuli Fort is a large hill fort situated in the Mahuli village of Maharashtra. Its summit rises 2816 feet above sea level, and is the highest peak in the Sahyadri mountain range of India. The fort has numerous ancient temples and other structures on the summit of the mountain. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Mahuli fort is the highest peak in the Sahyadri mountain range. It was once a great kingdom and was used as a strategic fort.
