: Jama Masjid, Muzaffarnagar was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 AD and is considered to be one of the oldest mosques in India. It is located about 15 km from Saharanpur, in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It has historically served to be an important religious, cultural, and educational centre for the people of Muzaffarnagar. It is famous for its intricate architecture and beautiful carvings. The mosque also features a large hall of worship and many minarets. It is a popular site of worship for Muslims across the region as well as visitors from far and wide. Architecture:

The Jama Masjid of Muzaffarnagar is an exquisite example of Mughal architecture in India. This mosque was built in the late 16th century by the local Mughal rulers. The two-storey structure is a combination of red and white sandstone. The main prayer hall is octagonal in shape, with a large cupola above it. The mosque has four minarets and two domes, each made of white marble. The entrance of the mosque is a marble arch, beautifully adorned with floral and geometric motifs. Inside, the mosque features detailed carvings and glazed tiles. These tiles have intricate geometric patterns with Persian calligraphy that pay homage to the Mughal emperors and their esteemed line of descendants. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Visiting Hours:

Jama Masjid, Muzaffarnagar is open for visitors from sunrise to sunset (timing varies depending on the season). The entrance to the masjid is free of charge. However, any photographs taken inside the premises must be taken with permission from the management. best mosque in the world.

It is situated at the Bank of River Ganges in the heart of the city and is known as the oldest place of worship in Muzaffarnagar. The Jama Masjid was built in the seventeenth century and is one of the few architectural monuments of its kind in Uttar Pradesh. The history of the Jama Masjid dates back to the Mughal period. It is believed that the monument was originally built by a Muslim ruler, Muhammad Khvaja Ghazi, in 1680. Visitors can get to the Jama Masjid by taking a local bus or taxi to the city centre. The nearest railway station is the Muzaffarnagar railway station located on the Delhi-Moradabad line. From the station, it is a 5 km drive to the Jama Masjid.
