The Ibrahim Rauza, also known as Ibrahim Rauza Saqqa, is a magnificent 16th-century tomb situated in Bijapur, Karnataka. It is an iconic landmark of the in the town and is a major tourist attraction due to its belief that it is the place of prophecy of the final Prophet Muhammad. The Masjid Ibrahim Rauza is a 16th century Mosque located in Bijapur, India. The mosque was commissioned by Ibrahim Adil Shah II who also constructed the Ibrahim Rauza, revered for its extraordinary construction and architecture. The Mosque is constructed of sandstone with exquisitely carved stone screens between the courtyards and the main prayer hall. The mihrab, or prayer niche, is intricately carved and decorated with elegant motifs. The Mosque also features ornate marble lattice jalis (screens), with its main entrance faced west, while two more entrances face the north and south. Inside the mosque, the prayer hall is illuminated by beautiful chandeliers. The presence of a pulpit marks the mosque as a place of learning.
