The walls of the shrine are constructed with red stone and decorated with stucco floral and geometric patterns. The entry gate is a large two storey one with lamps hangin from it. Other than the central tomb and Jamat Khana there are several other sections to the shrine including the Batain Khana, Ziarat Khana and the Musafarkhana. The tomb of Sayyed Ali Mira Datar is always covered with a green cloth, and the inside chamber is also draped with a green cloth. The whole monument is surrounded by a wall, which is topped with sharp points to protect it. There is also a small water tank in front of the dargah used by devotees for ablutions, and a set of stairs leading to the entrance. There is a garden with a few tree bottles in the courtyard. The dome of the main building of the dargah is decorated with marble art, while the windows have intricate carvings. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
