Hingloji Mata temple In India: History,Facts, & Services
Overview:
ji Mata temple is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in India that is associated with religious and mythical events from long ago. The temple is located in the Karauli district of Rajasthan. It is said to have been constructed about 5000 years ago and dates back to the Mahabharata period. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The most striking feature of the temple is the fact that it is built entirely out of earth and has no structure as such. The temple is made up of two concentric circles. The outer circle is made up of earthen blocks and the inner circle contains a large mud idol of Hingloji Mata. There is a small platform inside the outer circle and steps on the outside of the temple. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour

-The temple is believed to be the birthplace of Hinglaji Mata and there is a shrine dedicated to her inside. -The temple is considered to be sacred and many devotees visit it every year to seek blessings and perform rituals. -The temple is also known as Krim-Kund and is surrounded by three hills, namely Umang Hill, Bhairav Hill and Dagdi Hill. -It is believed that the temple was built using the same techniques that were used to construct the forts and palaces of Rajasthan.Visit one of the famous monuments of India with your friends and family.
