Brief History:

Hazrat Sayyed Pasha Quadri Dargah, Warangal in India is a notable Sufi Shrine. It is also known as Peer Saheb Dargah. Before converting to Islam, the dargah dedicates to Sayyed Pasha Quadri himself, who was born in 1716 as the son of the Raja of Devarakonda. After embracing Islam, Sayyed Quadri served the local rulers and reached an eminent stature. The dargah consists of two main shrines, dedicated to Ameer Ameen and Peer Pasha Quadri. It is believed that, when Peer Pasha Quadri was travelling to Mecca to perform the Hajj pilgrimage he died along the way. He was buried under a banyan tree in the middle of a village, which is now known as the Peer Saheb Dargah. The dargah attracts thousands of devotees from all over the state due to its spiritual connection to Sayyed Quadri. Devotees from various parts of India flock here for offering their prayers, which are believed to be fulfilled here. Apart from the shrines, the dargah also has a beautiful green garden, a stepping stone, and a charnel house. Special devotional programmes including qawwali, sama and nazmi are held at the dargah to honour the spiritual essence of the shrine. Architecture:

The Hazrat Sayyed Pasha Quadri Dargah is a Sufi shrine located in Warangal, in the Indian state of Telangana. The shrine, constructed by Sultan Bigati Khan of the Bahmani dynasty, is dedicated to the sufi saint Hazrat Sayyed Pasha Quadri. The shrine is believed to have been constructed in the 17th century. The shrine is built entirely of lime and mortar, with intricately carved pillars and repeated geometric designs. The entrance is marked by two large pillared pavilions, while the interior of the shrine is adorned with seven arches on the front, and a large dome in the centre. The shrine also features two minarets, as well as a beautifully carved balcony. The walls of the shrine are decorated with stucco designs, which are typical of the Hazara-style of architecture. Many of the decorations still preserve their original color, which is a testament to the skill of the artisans who worked on the shrine. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
