Brief History:

is the shrine of world renowned Wali-Allah Sultan-ul-Auliya Hazrat Khwaja Syed Mohammed Muhiuddin a.k.a Khwaja Shamsuddin Quadri, popularly known as the Hazrat Khwaja Saheb of Chishtiya Sufi Silsila. Hazrat Khwaja Shaikh Syed Muhiuddin Saadhullah Quadri (RA) arrived in Hyderabad District in 1178 (Hijri) and eventually settled down in Hyderabad near Masjid Noori in Purani Haveli, where his shrine which is extremely popular as Hazrat Khwaja Quadri's Dargah is majestically located. Hazrat Khwaja Syed Mohammed Muhiuddin Quadri assumed to have a very high rank in the Chishtiya Silsila. He had deep knowledge and attained spiritualism. He died in 1251 (Hajri). The Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Muhiuddin (RA) is situated in Lal Darwaza in Hyderabad. This is the oldest and most revered Dargah in Hyderabad. It is believed that Hazrat Muhiuddins's blessings could cure those facing obstacles in their life. The streets of this holy place are almost always abuzz with devotees from diverse backgrounds, such as Hindus, Muslims, and Christians, who come to the Dargah seeking his blessings. Every Thursday, special prayers are offered and the Dargah celebrates religious holidays in a grand manner with many visitors. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

Architecture:

The architecture of the Hazrat Khwaja Shamsuddin Quadri Dargah, or Mian Mishk Masjid in Hyderabad, India, consists of a large central dome surrounded by four smaller domes and two minarets. The dome is intricately carved and decorated with intricate geometric patterns with Islamic inscriptions. The minarets have a spiral staircase leading up to a platform from which the muezzin can deliver the azan. In addition, there are four arches surrounding the courtyard which also contain Islamic inscriptions. The courtyard of this mosque-mausoleum is surrounded by several Madresas where students learn about Islamic teachings. The walls are lined with carvings of various Quranic verses, and the floors are lined with finely polished white marble. Other features of the mausoleum complex include an ornate marble mihrab, a prayer hall, and a water tank. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
